but for real sherlock fandom calm down
so sorry that a korean pop group has an album named sherlock, that must be so hard for you to deal with; tags are sacred places!
that doesn’t mean you have to be racist/homophobic/femmephobic assholes about it.
and i’m not inclined to look favorably on you in the first place after that massive fit you all threw over lucy liu being cast as watson in the american adaptation.
You know what’s really awkward? When you’re both a SHINee fan and a Sherlock fan and you have to watch how SHINee/K-pop fans piss all over Sherlock fandom in the tags and vice versa.
I used to think k-pop stans were easily butt hurt but that obviously applies to other fandoms.
Both fandoms really need to get off their high horses.
Seriously.
It’s just a tag. JFC. If you don’t like what you see, scroll past it.

“Japan deserved that earthquake and tsunami. A little less Japanese in the world is a good thing.” Response.
Your reasons for why Japan deserved the earthquake and tsunami:
- Pearl Harbor
- Occupation of the Philippines
- Japanese people kill whales and dolphins
- All Japanese people are atheists so God tried to get rid of them
- God is angry with Japan
-Pearl Harbor happened nearly 70 years ago, so I don’t understand why you’re even talking about it. Saying this natural disaster is karma/America’s revenge for the lives lost on that day? Yeah because America didn’t get enough by dropping Atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
I’m not one to judge the value of a life but comparing the American losses (2,896 casualties, 2,117 were deaths, aircraft and battleships either damaged or destroyed) to the Japanese losses from Hiroshima and Nagasaki (The final death toll being 135,000 and 50,000 respectively), doesn’t it seem like more than enough? You’re saying that 70 years later, fate decides that not enough lives were taken that day so more people need to die? I can’t accept that.
-Occupation of the Philippines… I really don’t know why you brought that up. Perhaps your Filipino pride is greater than mine.
-I don’t condone animal cruelty but there’s been change among the fishing industry in Japan. Whaling and dolphin killing are on their way to coming to a complete stop in the country. It’s coming across slowly but it’s coming to a stop.
-Don’t even bring religion into this. I’ve studied religion in East Asia and I was raised Catholic. I don’t even have to be religious to know that not all Japanese people are atheists. Religion and a belief in a higher power does exist among the Japanese people in Shinto, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc. Just because they don’t happen to believe in “your God,” doesn’t give you the right to say that “God is angry with them, he wants to get rid of them.” Who are you to speak for God?
The earthquake and tsunami are natural disasters. Natural. Disasters. It was not an act of God to smite the wicked Japanese.
Last night, you said that because I’m half Japanese, I would always take the Japanese side of an argument. You’re wrong, I am never biased in my opinion. You forget that I’m also half Filipino whereas you are full Filipino. Because the occupation of the Philippines doesn’t seem to bother me as much as it bothers you does not mean I’ve taken the “Japanese side.”
I’m Canadian so I couldn’t possibly understand the effect the attack on Pearl Harbor has on you and your fellow Americans. You would not have even known about Pearl Harbor if you hadn’t gone and looked it up after seeing various tweets from famous people so don’t tell me I couldn’t possibly understand. I’ve read a few history books in my 18 years, I knew of Pearl Harbor before people began tweeting.
I don’t practice Catholicism, therefore I’m not a good Christian so I too am an atheist-Japanese. You’re right, I don’t practice Catholicism. I don’t go to church every sunday, I don’t fast when I’m supposed to, I don’t do a lot of things religious followers are supposed to. But honestly? Going to church every sunday does not make you any better than me, and just because I don’t have strong beliefs compared to other religious people, who the hell are you to judge me?
“Japan deserved that earthquake and tsunami.”
Did Indonesia/Southern Asia deserve the underwater earthquake and tsunami?
Did America deserve Hurricane Katrina?
Did Haiti deserve the earthquake?
No, none of them deserved it. Not America, not Haiti, not Indonesia and South Asia.
Nobody, no country deserves to go through something like this.
Preach.
